Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains how Crasto Media collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit crastomedia.com or interact with our services. We try to write this in plain English, but it is a legal document — please read it.

01

Who we are

Crasto Media is the d/b/a of Douglas Crasto, a sole proprietorship based at 501 Southeast Second St., Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33301. References to “Crasto Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to this entity. References to “you” refer to the person visiting the site or submitting information to us.

02

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit the audit request form or contact us directly, we collect the information you give us, which may include your name, email address, phone number, firm or company name, website URL, industry, current paid advertising activity, marketing budget range, and any free-text description of your goals.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting and analytics providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This information is used for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics.

Cookies and tracking. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and to measure performance. See Section 05 for detail.

03

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your audit request and deliver the diagnostic document.
  • Communicate with you about your inquiry, our services, and related opportunities.
  • Send marketing communications by email and SMS where you have consented (see Section 06).
  • Operate, secure, and improve crastomedia.com.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
04

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below.

Service providers. We use third-party vendors to operate our business. These include:

  • GoHighLevel (HighLevel Inc.) — our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, which stores your submission, contact records, and marketing communications.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, and analytics for crastomedia.com.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. — for the Meta Pixel, which measures and retargets visitors via Facebook and Instagram.
  • Google LLC — for Google Analytics 4 (visitor analytics) and Google Workspace (email).

These providers process your information on our behalf and under contractual privacy obligations. Each maintains its own privacy practices and may collect additional data under its own terms.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.

Business transfers. If Crasto Media is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

05

Cookies, pixels, and analytics

We use cookies and tracking pixels for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. Specifically:

  • Meta Pixel — tracks your interactions with the site and may be used to deliver targeted advertising to you on Facebook and Instagram. You can manage Meta's use of your data via your Facebook ad preferences.
  • Google Analytics 4 — measures aggregate site usage. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on or by configuring your browser to block analytics cookies.
  • Cloudflare cookies — used for security, bot detection, and basic analytics. These are essential for site operation.

Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Doing so may affect site functionality. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals because there is no consistent industry standard for those signals.

06

Email and SMS communications

Our forms include an express opt-in checkbox for SMS and email communications. By checking that box and submitting the form, you provide your express written consent to receive marketing and informational text messages and emails from Crasto Media at the phone number and email address you provide, including messages delivered using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.

Email. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or by replying to ask us to stop.

SMS / text messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS at any time, or HELP for assistance. We will not send you SMS messages if you have not opted in via our form, and we will stop sending messages once you opt out.

We retain a record of your consent — the exact text shown to you, the date and time of consent, and the page on which you consented — for as long as required to demonstrate compliance with applicable telephone and electronic communications laws, including the TCPA.

07

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We periodically delete or anonymize records we no longer need. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 08).

08

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights under applicable privacy laws:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Opt-out — opt out of marketing communications and certain processing.
  • Portability — request a copy of your information in a portable format.
  • Non-discrimination — exercise these rights without penalty.

We extend these rights to all users where reasonably practical, regardless of residence, including residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws. To exercise any right, email us at doug@crastomedia.com from the address associated with your records. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.

09

Children's privacy

Crasto Media is a business-to-business service. The site and our services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it.

10

Data security and breach notification

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by Florida law, including the Florida Information Protection Act of 2014, and any other applicable state or federal law.

11

We operate the site from the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than the country in which you reside.
